Google Cloud announced a $750 million fund at its Cloud Next 2026 conference in Las Vegas on April 22, dedicated to accelerating agentic AI adoption across its 120,000-member global partner ecosystem. The fund targets consulting firms, systems integrators, software partners, and channel partners, according to Google Cloud’s official announcement.

What the Fund Covers

The $750 million is structured around five pillars, per the Google Cloud press release:

Embedded engineering teams. Google will place forward-deployed engineers (FDEs) alongside major consulting firms and systems integrators including Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, HCLTech, PwC, and TCS. These engineers work directly on customer deployments and technical challenges.

Dedicated Gemini Enterprise practices. AI-native services partners, including Altimetrik, Artefact, Covasant, Deepsense, Distyl.ai, Northslope, Quantium, Tribe.ai, and Tryolabs, will launch specialized Gemini Enterprise practices. Google provides credits for sandbox development, technical upskilling, and referral opportunities.

Early model access. Accenture, BCG, Deloitte, and McKinsey will receive early access to Gemini models. Their feedback is intended to refine systems before broader enterprise rollout.

Enterprise-ready agent marketplace. Partners can surface vetted agents through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. Launch partners include Adobe, Atlassian, Deloitte, Lovable, Oracle, Palo Alto Networks, Replit, S&P Global, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Workday.

Usage incentives. The fund provides co-investment opportunities, Wiz security assessments, and adoption incentives for partners and their customers.

The Partner Distribution War

“Google Cloud’s partners are already leaders in agentic AI development and deployment, and have become important channels for distributing AI technologies,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, president of Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, in the announcement.

The fund mirrors a pattern emerging across all three major cloud providers. Microsoft has been building Azure Copilot partner co-sell programs. Salesforce’s Agentforce ecosystem runs on commission-based partner distribution. Google’s 120,000-member ecosystem, with over 330,000 experts already trained on implementing Google AI, represents the scale needed to move agents from pilot programs into production deployments.

The underlying logic: cloud providers are building agent partner channels the same way they built cloud migration channels a decade ago. The consulting firms that captured billions in AWS, Azure, and GCP migration revenue between 2012 and 2020 are now positioning for the same role in agentic AI adoption. Google is investing $750 million to make sure those firms build on its infrastructure.

The Numbers Behind the Bet

Google Cloud’s partner ecosystem already has 95% of the top 20 and over 80% of the top 100 SaaS companies using Gemini models, according to the press release. The fund’s purpose is converting that model adoption into deployed agent workloads running on Google Cloud infrastructure.

The timing is deliberate. Google unveiled the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, TPU 8 chips, and Agentic Defense at the same conference. The $750 million partner fund is the go-to-market layer for all of it: enterprises will build agents on Google’s platform, but they will buy through the partners Google is now funding.
